This weekend we made the LONG - what seemed FOREVER- trip to Shasta (Trinity Resort) for my cousin's wedding.
A picture of peace.....Dave and I were able to sneak in a hour of sweet conversation without being interrupted.
The trip took four hours....an hour longer than we expected. We even missed the rehearsal dinner. :(The girls had a great time breaking in our hotel room.
We had some time before the wedding, so we decided to take a hike in search for waterfalls. Let's just say we barley made it...3 three year old kiddos on a 2 mile hike. What were we thinking??
The only way to get to the waterfalls was to hike along the train tracks. The train horn would sound which would give us 30 seconds to get off the train track. Again, what were we thinking? :)
